this is an announcement that salsafrance.com/english needs a new image for the entry page, and so we're requesting drawings/photos/other images from salsa artists around the world to create an image for our gallery!

requirements:

300X300 pixels
file size not to exceed 50kb
theme: SALSA/FRANCE
date to submit entries: June 10, 2005

please send all entries to: feliz@salsafrance.com

the image that we select will be posted on the entry page for the english portion of our site, and all other entries will be posted in an on-line gallery. please spread the word, we want to see your images!

nope! salsafrance.com already has a logo - i'm looking for your images about salsa and want to open up the english part of the site to more people. i think it's interesting to see different 'glimpses' from around the world of how people express ideas through art: so that's why there will be a gallery on-line also. i've posted the 'contest' (there's nothing really to win, except seeing your image on-line!) on boards in the US and in France and here -

and we hope to see your images! everything is welcome (within the requirements of the theme/file size!)

pics of artists, pics by artists, pics by wanna-be artists, we want it all: any medium is welcome, photo paint digital scanned sculpture collage etc... it should be an image that expresses the idea: salsa and france, and if it does, send it off to us and we'll put it on the site!
